About the Event:
The Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER) and KBA Canada are inviting all interested First Nations to an in-person gathering to learn more about a new conservation planning tool called Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs) and to listen to communities about how this tool can be used to support Indigenous-led conservation across Canada. CIER has partnered with Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Canada on the KBA Canada project they are leading with several partners including Birds Canada and NatureServe Canada.
